Dorothy (Dottie) Jeannie (Power) Bohneman, 77, of Rockford, Minnesota, went home to her Heavenly Father peacefully on Monday, June 15, 2026, at the Parkview Senior Care Center in Buffalo, Minnesota.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Our Father’s Lutheran Church in Rockford, Minnesota, where she was a member and a choir member at 12:00 noon on July 11, 2026. Her family willgreet family and friends. Memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. and a luncheon will follow. 

Lorraine Agnes (Schultheis) Klaes, age 89, of Osage, Iowa, died Saturday, June 27, 2026, in Osage, surrounded by her loving family.

Dolores H. (Kleckner) Byrnes passed away on June 14th at Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage, Iowa surrounded by her family.

Phillip Eugene Scott, 79, of Orchard, Iowa, passed away on June 12, 2026, at his home.

John M. “Jack” Dobbs, 82, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026, the same day he and his beloved wife celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary.
Jack was born on August 3, 1943, in Flandreau, South Dakota. He graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in Pharmacy in 1966.
On April 27, 1968, Jack married the love of his life, Nancy. Together, they built a life centered on family, faith, and lasting memories.

Charles (Chuck) Laures passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025, with his family by his side, at the Chandler Regional Medical Center in Chandler, Arizona. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage, Iowa. Visitation will take place Friday, May 29, 2026, from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. There will be no burial at this time.

Mary Helen French, age 97, of Osage, died Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Faith Lutheran Home in Osage. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday April 13, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the church on Monday at the church.

Eldean August Wendt was called peacefully to his savior on March 30, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family. Eldean was born on November 19, 1935, to Henry and Leola (Bockhaus) Wendt. They resided on their Iowa Century family farm near Frederika, Iowa. A man of extraordinary strength, faith and unyielding dedication to those he loved.

Marilyn Von Tersch, age 84, of Osage, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Faith Lutheran Home in Osage. Marilyn was born May 20, 1941, in Osage Iowa. Daughter to Clifford and Jennette Lewis. She grew up on the family farm just south of Osage and helped with the family milk production and delivery business. She fell in love with the nature and wildlife that surrounded their home. She attended Osage Schools and graduated Osage High School in 1959.

Steve Budd, 77, of Mundelein’s Diamond Lake neighborhood in the northern suburbs of Chicago, passed away February 7, 2026.  

Steve was born on August 31, 1948, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Helen and Jim Budd and grew up in Osage, Iowa with his brothers Mark, Paul and Erik.  

A much-loved husband, dad, grandpa, son and brother, Ron Sonberg, 70, of Charles City, Iowa, passed away peacefully at his home on February 19, 2026, with his family present. He was born June 16, 1955, to Richard and Annette Sonberg in Osage and resided in Charles City.  

Sterling Bierbrodt of Osage, passed away January 31, 2026 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife (Julie Bierbrodt) of 41 years. His children Brandie (Lincoln) Bates, Douglas (Emily) Bierbrodt, Victoria (Regi ) David, Jesse Bierbrodt and Brad Hengesteg. He is also survived by siblings Jan (Mark) Vaage, Todd (Mary) Bierbrodt, Angel (Scott) Dillion, Kent (Dave) Reiser and Rosa Brunson.

Kent Joel Shultz, 61, of Osage, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026.

A visitation is planned for 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage, Iowa. Rosary services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on February 3. The funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 4, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will immediately follow Mass and will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Osage.
