At some point in our lives, every one of us has been asked about our heritage, our family origins or the winding branches of our own family tree. For me, that curiosity has always been there. Maybe it grew from a natural love of history — a subject I gravitated toward throughout college — or maybe it came from simply wanting to understand the people who came before me.
