After years of planning, fundraising and volunteer work, the Mitchell County Historical Museum is preparing to officially open its doors to the public with a free Grand Opening and Open House celebration Saturday, June 13. Hosted by the Mitchell County Historical Society, the event will run from 2 to 5 p.m.
