St. Ansgar Schools to Host Kindergarten Parent Meeting March 17

ST. ANSGAR — Parents of children entering kindergarten or junior kindergarten in the fall of 2026 are invited to attend an upcoming informational meeting hosted by the Saint Ansgar Community School District.

The Kindergarten Parent Meeting will be held Tuesday, March 17 at 5:30 p.m. in the elementary cafeteria. The event is designed for families with students who will be part of the Class of 2039 and entering school during the 2026–2027 school year.

Hackenmiller Memorial Cribbage Tournament supports Stacyville Fire Department

STACYVILLE — The Stacyville Fire Department recently received a generous donation from the Hackenmiller family following the annual Eric Hackenmiller Memorial Cribbage Tournament.

Proceeds from the tournament were presented to the department in appreciation of the firefighters and the services they provide to the Stacyville community. The Hackenmiller family organized the tournament in memory of Eric Hackenmiller, with community members attending the event to support the cause.
