After about three years of fundraising, Faith Lutheran Home broke ground Tuesday on the first phase of a campus expansion that will add a new therapy clinic.

An Osage teen who was reported missing after leaving YSS of North Iowa in Mason City on June 18 is again the subject of an active runaway investigation after she was found June 24 and later ran away from a Fort Dodge shelter while awaiting placement in a court-ordered treatment program, according to police and family members.

UPDATE: Taryn Henderson has been found safe, according to family members. Thank you to everyone who shared information and assisted in the search. 

Most of Osage’s splash pad is back in operation after a contractor determined freezing was the likely cause of underground pipe damage discovered earlier this spring.
