Kevin Adelmund, owner of Sportsman's Inn and Grill, which includes the Osage Motel, plans to convert the motel's 20 rooms into 10 one-bedroom apartments. Adelmund owns the property through McIntosh Estates LLC. He said converting the motel rooms into apartments has been the plan since he purchased the property around 2022.

Osage officials are considering whether a controlled bow hunt could help address complaints about deer damaging trees, gardens, and other property around the city.

Osage golf cart owners could receive new city-issued identification stickers and pay a higher annual registration fee beginning next year.

The Board of Education unanimously approved both agreements July 13. Superintendent Tony Hiatt said both are extensions of existing arrangements.
